Suddenly, at his home in Oshawa, on Monday, November 03, 2008. Dwayne Shields, age 45, was the beloved son of Theda Bruce and the late Angus Shields. Loving father of Dakota, Lydia and Alison. Loved brother of Darcy Shields and his wife Myrna, Darlene Shields, and Tanya Lavender and her husband Cameron. Fondly remembered by many family and friends. Dwayne was a maintenance mechanic with Durham Region for many years. Dwayne’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Dwayne will take place at the funeral home on Friday, November 07, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating. Cremation to follow at Lakefield Crematorium. Dwayne's ashes will be interred in Grace Cemetery, Maynooth, at a later date.
