Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Mary MacDonald, age 97 of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of the late George MacDonald (1991). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Joyce, Lois (Gordon), Donnie, Annie, Bobbie (Yvonne), David (Brenda), Rosemary (Wayne), Lloyd, Nancy (Philip), Ralph (Lil), Diane, Darlene (Kelly), Terry (Becky), Dale (Tracy), and Brian (Ann). Predeceased by her children Albert, Sheldon, Harry, and Clarence. Loved grandmother of 37, great-grandmother of 55, and great great-grandmother of 13. Sister of Liz, Verna and Findlay. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maple Leaf. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place.
