We say goodbye to a very special lady who passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the age of 83. She was the beloved partner of Ronald Sykes of Highland Grove. Loved mother of Chris Ellis of Harwood. Loving step-mother of Molly (Duncan) and Joseph. Grandmother of Nicolas (Brittany) and Katie (Justin). Great-Grandmother of Aurora. Sister of Carol Deschamp (Pat) of Port Hope and Josephine Farr (Derek) of England. Sister-in-law of Brenda Panta (Albert) and Daughter-in-law of Margaret Sykes. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. June had a love for life and took every opportunity to have fun. Her special companion was a furry friend, Chloe. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service and interment will take place at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in Bancroft with Rev. Darlene Cunliff presiding. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Kingston General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
