Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Bancroft Hospital on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at age 87. Roy was the beloved husband of Faye Card. Loved father of Ralph (Gail), Dean (Deb), David (Sandy), Rodger (Patty), Steven (Laticia) and Lynda (Phil). Brother of Violet, Clifford and Don (Sylvia). Roy was the grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 17. Brother and brother-in-law of Violet, Clifford, Don (Sylvia), Murray (Fay), Kay (Dwayne) and Carol (Ken). He was predeceased by his grandson Shawn, his parents Minor and Elizabeth (Hinze) Card, and his sisters Jenny, Erma, Hilda and his brother Ross. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Roy’s family received relatives and friends at the Bancroft Bible Chapel (106 Hastings St. N. Bancroft) Friday, September 6, 2019 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service followed at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Mitchell presiding. Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Bancroft.
