Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Dwight Sears, age 58 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Kathie (Wilson) Sears. Loving father of Tanner. Son of the late Kye and Myrtle (Cooney) Sears. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Sharon Rae, Lois Poff, Delores Wilson (Murray), Gordon Creighton (Sadie), Jack Wilson (Roseanne), Murray Wilson (Delores), Terry Wilson (Rose), Valerie Rew (Dave), Linda Jenkins (Terry) and Steve Wilson. Predeceased by his sisters Joan Fransky and Geraldine Creighton, and his brothers-in-law Bruce and Carmen. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Dwight was a marine mechanic for many years, and worked for Bancroft Sport & Marine as well as Baptiste Lake Marina. He was also an avid hunter, and a member of The Ontario Deer Hound Association. Cremation has taken place, with a Memorial Service at a later date.
