Peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Vicey Spence, age 82, was the beloved wife of the late McKinley Spence (1979). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Eugene (Mary) of Bancroft, Dana of Cardiff, Debra Welsh (Gerry) of Cannington, Lorraine Pyle (Calvin) of Belleville, Wayne (Allison) of Tweed, Daryl of Bancroft, and Dwayne Campbell of Bancroft. Predeceased by her son Ernest and her two daughters Cheryl and Wanda. Loved grandmother of Adam, Christopher, Angela, Tamarah, Alicia, Jason, Aimee-Lynn, Benjamin, Brandon, Nicole, Natasha, Rhonda, Kevin, Ashley, Ethan and Leah. Great grandmother and great-great grandmother of many. Sister of Irene and Claude. Survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Vicey was a PSW at the Centennial Manor for over 16 years. Vicey’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Thursday from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Friday, January 04, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Riley officiating. Interment, Zion United Cemetery, Hybla in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
