Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Wayne Ward, age 53, was the beloved husband of Diana (Sniderman) Ward of Bancroft. Loving father of Allan Ward (Donna) and Ron Ward (Teresa). Grandfather of Erika, Jennifer and Katrina. Son of the late Albert and Barbara (Pegg) Ward, and brother of Herbert (Gloria) of Toronto and Wendy Ward of Brampton. Son-in-law of Ron Sniderman and Joan O’Reilly, and brother-in-law of Ron Sniderman (Anna), Clarice Smith (Terry) and Joanne Mah (Kenneth). Fondly remembered by Uncle Leonard and many nieces and nephews, and his best friend John Clarke of Brampton.Wayne’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth), on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday 10- 12 noon. A Funeral Service for Wayne will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 12 Noon. Interment, Mt. Zion United Church Cemetery, Hybla Rd. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Brain Tumour Research of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
