At Quinte Health Care, Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Gordon Whyte, age 83 of Tweed, was the beloved husband of Shirley (Hannah) Whyte. Loved father of Boyd (Joanne), Bryce (Patrick), Janice, Denice, and Bernice (Rick). Loving grandfather of Katie (Craig), Ashley-Lynn, Heidi (Joel), Chad (Mel), Yolanda (Garry), Patrick (Mel), Glenda (Troy), Jennifer (Kyle), Tyler, Derrick (Sarah) and Jessica. Great-grandfather of Aliyah, Isaac, Owen, Kaleb, Ryan, Chevy, Anthony, Shakiera, Mae-Lynn, Patrick, Jaden, Broeklyn, Danika, Logan, Glenn and Anna. Son of the late Ronald and Lila (Ruttan) Whyte. Brother of Nora, John, Barbara and the late Gerald. Brother-in-law of Dawnie, Dale, Billy, Gloria, Royce and the late Dennis and Mernie. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Gordon’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Carlow Community Centre (1702 Fort Stewart Road, Fort Stewart) for a Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 06, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A Private interment will take place at Carlow United Church Cemetery.
