Peacefully, at his home in Maynooth, on Sunday, April 13, 2008. Garnet Olmstead, age 81, was the loving partner of the late Lillian Kinder. Beloved step-father of Delroy Kinder, and grandfather of Mark and Alicia Kinder, Valerie and Hubert Worsfold, Chris Kinder, Dana and Nicole Kinder, and Patricia and Jason Hogan. Beloved great-grandfather of Taylor, Douglas, Michael, Justine, Amber, Aimee, Jessie and Hunter. Brother to Leona, Evaleen, Tom and the late James and Melvin. Garnet’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Wednesday April 16, 2008 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Service for Garnet will follow at 3:30 p.m. with The Rev. Audrey Lounder officiating. Interment at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth, in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
