Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care Belleville General Hospital, Belleville, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Irene Rowe, age 80 of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of the late Robert Rowe (2017). Loving mother of Kristina Drain (William) of Cardiff, John Majeste (Sylvia) of Belleville, and Zelma Rennie of Bancroft. Grandmother of Daniel, Isaac (Stephanie), Harley, and Lily-Rose. Sister and sister-in-law of Lynn Gardiner, Paul (Donna) Gardiner, Bill (Rachelle) Gardiner. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her brother Donald Gardiner and her son-in-law Norman Rennie. Irene’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St.N., Bancroft) on Friday February 09, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Rutter officiating. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation, or The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family.
