Peacefully, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Kingston, on Monday, January 29, 2018. Toni Meitz, age 94 of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of Walter Meitz. Loving mother of Patricia-Anne Smies (Age) of Peterborough, Marilyn Meitz (Ron Richards) of Stirling and Marie Blair (Gord) of Ajax. Loved grandmother of Aage (Kathleen), Willem (Alison), Michelle (Shane), Leona (Darren), Andrew (Kim), Adam, Stuart, and David (Danielle). Great-grandmother of Christopher, Nico, Karlie, Ryan, Bryce, Ethan, Emily, Spencer, Hunter, Nathan, Ty, Blake, Amber and Bree. Sister of Joan Taylor, and sisters-in-law of Emma Fox and Ethel Meitz. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Penny Meitz and infant son Walter. Cremation has taken place. Toni’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 05, 2018, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Maple Leaf. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Lietdke officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The War Amps, Christ Lutheran Church or Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
