Suddenly, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Sunday, April 02, 2017. Mary (Campbell) Scott, age 56, of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Jasmine Scott (Lance Prentice) and Jonathan Scott (Paige Witty). Daughter of the late James and Margaret (Barry) Campbell. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Jim (Judy) Campbell of B.C., Kati Campbell of Whitby, Danny (Maria) Campbell of Montreal, Anne Theresa (Brent) Goheen of Calgary, Barry (Dawn) Campbell of Whitby, Jane (Brian) Howe of Kitchener, Larry (Monica) Scott of Courtice, Clarke (Brenda) Scott of Maple Leaf, Roween Card of Maynooth, Grant Scott of Lake St. Peter, David Scott of Maynooth and Brenda (Monty) Douglas of Peterborough. Daughter-in-law of Vera and the late Jack Scott of Maynooth. Predeceased by her brother Neil, her niece Chloe and brother-in-law Jack. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. In Mary's early years, she obtained her pilot's license and loved to fly. She was a registered nurse at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry's Bay for many years. She was a true healer for many. Her biggest achievement was her family and raising her children. She took much pride in all activities she pursued. She was a devoted hockey mom. Special thoughts to Stephen Rumleski and Jeff Smale, who lived with the Scott family for many years. She will be fondly be remembered and missed by her family, friends and pets. Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy (96 Bridge St. W, Bancroft) on Friday 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, April 08, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Patrick M. Dobec presiding. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart Institute of Ottawa, St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation or Quinte Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
