Peacefully, at Extendicare Haliburton, on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Burton Robinson, age 75 of Harcourt, was the beloved husband of Linda (Shannick) Robinson. Loved father of Lyle Robinson (Josann) of Oshawa, and Lisa Donaldson (Stephen) of Lakefield. Loving grandfather of Taylor and Liam. Predeceased by his daughter Marie. Brother and Brother-in-law of Elwood Robinson (Shelba-Jean), Barry Robinson (Joyce), Dean Robinson (Sharon), Keith Shannick (Ann), Randy Shannick (Ann) and Rick Shannick (Gloria). Predeceased by his parents Ross and Nellie (Scott) Robinson, brothers David and Donald and his sister Judy. Burton’s family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium. A Graveside Service for Interment of Burton’s Ashes, will take place at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth, at a later date.
