Peacefully, on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Garry Davis, age 82 of Maple Leaf, was the beloved husband of Phillis (Pesheau) Davis and the late Ann (Adams) Davis (2004). Loving father of Dan (Chris), Carol, Brett (Jen) and step-father of Denise (Paul), and Kent (Heather). Fondly remembered by his adopted son Mark McGregor (Jen). Loved grandfather of Josh (Brianne), Jessica (Cam), Brandon, Kari, Madison, Jocelyn, Mia, Liam and Tyler. Brother of Bruce (Ethel), Murray (Alice), Dan (Darla), Bun (Margie), Janice Scott, Arlene Koss (the late Ron), Erie (the late Viola), Dean (Larraine), and Shirley. Predeceased by Gifford, Tracy and Bert. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and long-time friend Jim Benham. Garry was retired from the Trenton Police Force after 33 years of service. Garry’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place at Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 62N, Maynooth) on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 10:00 – 12 Noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon with Janet Weller officiating. Interment, Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Hospital for Sick Children or Shriners Hospitals for Children would be appreciated by the family.
