Bram van Tol lost his battle with cancer and past away at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Tuesday August 11, 2015. Bram van Tol, age 77 of Maynooth, was the beloved husband of Doreen (Lightle) van Tol for 53 years. Loving father of Yona Stadtke (Terry) of Roseneath and Hugh van Tol (Cynthia) of Sudbury. Loving Opa of Courtney, Kali, Acacia and Koral. Brother of Hennie Boyle (John) of Cobourg, and brother-in-law of Jean Baker and Margaret Birkett. Bram enjoyed snowmobiling and was an active member and volunteer with the Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers and will be sadly missed by all his friends. A private family service was held at the funeral home, with cremation at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings or Bancroft Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
