Daughter of Aino Alina Shubert of Finland and Per Brusendorff, of Denmark. Much loved by her children, Kim St. Pierre, Heidi St. Pierre, Dane St. Pierre and Shawn St. Pierre Always a proud Grandmother to Michael, Davin, Lia, Fielding, Cole, Amy and Emily. A great Grandmother to Ethan and Brody. Loved and missed dearly by cousin Ira (Leskinen), Ira's daughter Juanita and her sons Lee & Brett. Our neighbours from Newfoundland hold you dear in their hearts. Fondly remembered as KFC (Karen from Canada) by her friends in Florida. The Army Navy gave her that special place to be, she spoke highly of her group. Karen had some amazing strengths and vulnerabilities that helped to make this world a better place. The many friends whose lives were touched by this extraordinary woman will treasure Karen’s unique gifts. A Celebration of Karen’s Life will take place at the A.N.A.F. (Army, Navy & Air Force Club, ANAF Road, Maynooth) on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Karen's ashes will be released over Greenbark lake in Maynooth Ontario, with her children present, as she wished. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
