It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan, in her 81st year, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Loving mother to Susan, beloved sister to Burton (Baker), and cherished Nana of Kirstin (Boehme) and Colleen (Boehme). Predeceased by her father William (Baker), mother Mildred (Baker, née Sargent), husband Lionel, and sisters-in-law Bernice (Baker, née Johnston) and Dolores (Conley, née Bellisle). As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Though absent, you are very near. Always loved, always missed, and very dear.
