Peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Edward Jeffery, age 74, of Maple Leaf, was the beloved husband of Doreen (Mackey) Jeffery. Loving father of Randy Jeffery of Port Perry, Greg Jeffery (Cathy) of Port Perry, Heather Jeffery (Ron) of Bancroft and Sherri Berry (Randy) of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of Brittany, Brooke, Jessica, Evan, Jake, Alicia, Johnathan, Braedon, Miranda and Joclynn. Great-grandfather of Brody, Ayden and the late Nathan. Son of Maisie and the late John Jeffery. Brother and brother-in-law of John (Sandy) Jeffery, Linda (Walter) Fowley, Shar Mackey, Lillian Lynde and Phillis Mackay. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Junior. Edward’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Thursday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home, on Friday May 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to H.A.R.T. (Highland Animal Relief Team) would be appreciated by the family.
