Peacefully, at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Friday, March 13, 2015. Rosemary Millar, age 54 of Cardiff, was the beloved spouse of Peter Maika. Loving mother of Richard Sawyer (Chantel), Trevor Millar (Melinda) and Tessa Sheilds. Step-mother of Thomas Vardy, Shaun Maika and Chris Maika. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Helena and Marley. Sister of Norma Jean, Amy Lynn (Mike), Dean, and Sheri. Survived by her nieces Kimber-Anne and Jessica, and nephews Darcey, Shawn, and predeceased by her nephew Curtis. Fondly remembered by her many friends, with special mention to Yvonne Parks and Barb Marois. Rosemary’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Wednesday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Susanne Hedley DLM-NR officiating. Interment Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.
