March 31, 1949 - October 25, 2014 Passed away in her home in Scarborough on Saturday October 25, 2014. Loving friend and spouse of William "Bill" Thompson. Marie was the daughter of the late James and Barbara Whyte of L'Amable. Marie was predeceased by husbands Douglas Moreau and Dietrich Jost. Survived by her children Shawn (Nicole) of Bancroft, Michelle of L'Amable, Mark (Susan) of Oshawa and step-son Chris. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Michael, Jonathon, Katrina and Steven. She was the much loved sister of Irvin & Helen Whyte of L'Amable, Betty & Louis Kellar of Belleville, David & Coreen Whyte of Bancroft, Edward & Susan Whyte of Chelmsford, Murray Whyte of Bancroft, Penny O'Neill of Bancroft, Dean Whyte of Peterborough, Doris Whyte of Belleville and Gord Whyte of Peterborough. A funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Bancroft on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment L'Amable United Church Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association as expressions of sympathy.
