Passed away peacefully at the QHC North Hastings Hospital Bancroft, on Monday October 27, 2014. Gary was born August 30, 1948 in Newmarket and raised in Richmond Hill. He moved to Bancroft where he was able to live his dreams. Loving partner and friend to Roberta Jacobs. Sadly missed by his brother Gordon Graves (Tony). Also missed by his children Steven Graves (Susan Leies), Marlaina Graves Loveys (Brian Loveys), Justin Graves Shannick (Amanda Shannick), Jillian Graves Whitman (Mike Whitman), Marsha Sutherland (Jeff Stirling), Crystal Sutherland and Mandy Sutherland Jenkins. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kesha, Darick, Robin, Tyler, Daniel, Tanisha, Joshua, Alex, Mark, Adam, Connor, Madison, Emily (Jordan), Jaycee, Kinley, Kayden, Mylam, Sam, Kate, Taylor and Olea and his beautiful great granddaughter Layla. Predeceased by his mother Ada Caroline Fletcher, father Merlin Robert Graves, brother Joseph Robert Graves, nephew Joey Graves and step-daughter Charlene Sutherland. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home, 200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice House Bancroft or North Hastings Community Cupboard.
