Peacefully, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, with his wife and family at his side, on Friday, August 08, 2014. Robert Recoskie, age 70 of Whitney, was the beloved husband of Vivian (Lavalley) Recoskie. Loving father of Wendy Recoskie (Jeff) of Pembroke, Michelle Sayyea of Barry’s Bay, and Darryl Recoskie (Sue) of Kitchener. Loving grandfather of Taylor, Evan and Matthew. Brother of Paul, Rita. Leona, Richard (Earla), Lawrence (Michelle) and Carmel. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Robert’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (10 Post St., Whitney) on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Father Moses Nwosu Presiding. Interment of Robert’s Ashes will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, Whitney. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Raise The Roof Fund of to St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
