Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Saturday, August 02, 2014. Douglas Harris, in his 85th year, of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Ruth (Dancey) Harris. Loved father of Paul (Yvonne) Harris of Pickering, and Sandra (Paul) Wilson of Newmarket. Loving grandfather of Krista and Justin Harris, and Andrew and Deanna Wilson. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Roy (Hilda) Dancey of Victoria and his nephew Bruce. At Doug’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Alzheimer Society of North Hastings would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
