Suddenly, at his home in Palmer Rapids, on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Bruno Stoppa, age 87, was the beloved husband of Gloria (Wasmund) Stoppa for 50 years. Loved father of Perry Stoppa (Sharon) of Barry’s Bay, Michelle Huisman of Cobourg, and Tamekio Coulas (Darryl) of Bancroft. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Shaely, Ian, Cheyenne, Morgan and Jarod. Great-grandfather of Chase. Loved brother of Rose Stoppa of Ajax, and Clemtine Brotton (Peter) of Barry’s Bay. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Rose (Murack) Stoppa, and by his many siblings. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Bruno’s family will receive relatives and friends at the New Fellowship Community Church (863 Centreview Road, Combermere) on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Garry Robinson Officiating.
