Peacefully, at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Harold Murphy, age 73 of Lake St. Peter, was the beloved husband of Annie (Leeman) Murphy. Loved father of Christine Froude (Dan) of Welland, and Teresa Fleury (Mark) of Brampton. Beloved grandfather of Rebecca Douglas (Brian), Kayleigh Fleury, Brayden Froude, Zachary Fleury and Alexander Froude. Loved son of Rebecca (Robbins) and the late Raymond Murphy of St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Brother of Frances McClure, Marlene Thomas (Rondo), Marilyn Ilton (Rae), Gary Murphy, Darrell Murphy (Mary), Anthony Murphy and Peter Murphy. Predeceased by his brother Randall and his sister Joyce. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Harold’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Lake St. Peter Community Centre (Boulter Road, Lake St. Peter) on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with The Rev. Jennifer Canning officiating. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Interment of Harold’s Ashes in St. Paul’s United Church Cemetery, Lake St. Peter in the spring.
