Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 01, 2007. Stephen Tripp, in his 57th year, was the beloved husband of Kathy (O’Shaughnessy) Tripp of Bancroft. Loving father of Stefan Tripp and his wife Sherry of Dundas, Matthew Tripp of Victoria B.C., and Sarah Tripp of Bancroft. Loved grandfather of Austin Tripp. Survived by his mother Lillian and his step-father Cecil Burke of Bancroft, his sister Marion and her husband Bill Haner of Thessalon, and his brother Stewart Tripp and his wife Linda of Brighton. Predeceased by his father Allan. Steve was a very proud member of the community, and operated the Century 21 Real Estate office for over 12 years. Steve was so well loved by all who knew him. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Steve will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday, April 04, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Father John Lacey officiating. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bancroft. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
