Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, Belleville General Hospital, on Thursday, March 29, 2007. Donald Scott, age 79, of Maynooth, was the beloved husband of Frances (Hansen) Scott. Loving father of Carol and her husband The Rev. Tim Maindonald, John Scott, and Tom Scott and his wife Angel all of Maynooth. Loved grandfather of Scott, Kelly, Andrea, Heather, Jack, Diane, Gage and Lexus. Great-grandfather of Thomas and Hayden. Dear brother of Jean Comber. For many years, Don and Frances were owners of Scott’s Esso in Maynooth, and operated a school bus in the area. Donald’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home, 200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth, on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visitation will also take place at the Graphite Bible Chapel on Monday morning 11-12 Noon. A Funeral Service for Donald will take place at the Graphite Bible Chapel (Graphite Road, Maynooth) on Monday, April 02, 2007 at 12 Noon with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating. Interment at Emmanuel Cemetery, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
