Peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Monday, February 19, 2007.  John Hawkins, in his 68^th year, was the beloved husband of Barbara (Hiltz) Hawkins of Bancroft.  Loving father of Raymond Lyons, Lois and Murray, Raymond White, Gordon and Rachel Lyons, Heather and Bam Lockwood and Douglas and Heather Lyons.  Loved grandfather of Darlene, Brad, Ashley, Eddie, Roy, Michael, Chanise, Gordon, Savanna and Austin.  Great-grandfather of Chelsey, Sommer and Meredith.  Brother and brother-in-law of Earla and sandy McGibbon, Helen Price and Edith Hawkins.  Predeceased by Murray Hawkins and Guy Price.  A Memorial Service for John will take place at the Dungannon Community Centre (L’Amable) on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Everitt Wicks officiating.  Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
