Peacefully, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Friday, November 10, 2006. Anne Elizabeth (Hudson) Hicks, in her 87th year, was the beloved wife of the late John Franklin Hicks (1999). Loving mother of Frank Hicks and his wife Patricia, of Baptist Lake, Sharon Godsell and her late husband Charles of Pembroke, Robert Hicks and his wife Marilyn of Bird's Creek, and Marion Morrison and her husband Andy of Peterborough. Loving grandmother of Darren (Michelle), Lisa, Cara, Amy (Kirk), Jill, Brendon, Brodie, Brock and Britney. Great-grandmother of Danielle, Collin, Leah and David. Sister of Raymond and his wife Helen of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her brothers Rod, John and George. The family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home, 200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth, on Monday 2-4 & 7- 9 p.m. Parish prayers will take place on Monday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, Maynooth, on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Ignatius Martyr Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Ignatius Martyr Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
