Passed peacefully with his family at his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre Hospital on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Reta LeRoux. Loved father of Nicole (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Chantal (Jimmy), Dylan (Nadyne) and Taylor Dawn. Great-grandfather of Mya. Bob was the son of Althea Ann LeRoux Bowler and the late Jean Paul LeRoux. Brother of Jerry (Barb), Cathy, Sandra (Freddy), and the late Jeffrey. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bob was retired from General Motors. He loved to draw and paint. He enjoyed working on small engine repairs and fixing almost anything. He was a teacher who shared his knowledge with anyone who was eager to learn. He enjoyed travelling, and spending time with all of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of having this wonderful, amazing, generous, kindred, and extremely funny man in their lives. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at M.G. Daly Funeral Home, (200 Old Hastings Rd. Maynooth, ON, K0L 2S0). Interment will take place in the spring at Grace United Cemetery, Maynooth, ON. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
