Peacefully, at his home in McArthur’s Mills, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the age of 79. Gone to join his sweetheart on Valentine’s Day! Beloved husband of the late Bertha Wannamaker (2023). Loving father of Trevor (Wanda), Shawn (Della), and Rodger. Loving grandfather of Amanda (Eric), Brad (Amber), Stephanie (Josh), Brandy, Julie, Cody, and Sara. Great-grandfather of Blair, Cameron, and Loretta. Brother and brother-in-law of Maxine Soules (John), Reg Liedtke (Donna), Yvonne Jamieson (Wayne), Arlene Madigan (Allan), Sonny Moore and Marie Hannah. Predeceased by his parents Richard (Alex) and Margaret Wannamaker, his brothers Murray, Jim and Earl, his brother-in-laws Ken and Wayne and his sisters June, Madeline, Fern, Catherine and Wilma. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. A private family visitation took place at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the spring at Long Lake Cemetery (Mayo Lake Road, Hartsmere, ON).
