Peacefully, at The Valley Manor Nursing Home, Barry’s Bay, on Friday, January 05, 2024. Monica Ruddy, in her 100th year of Whitney, was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Ruddy (1991). Loving mother of Lillian Mountney, Earl Ruddy, Margaret Weasner (Roy), Allan Ruddy (Edith), Donald Ruddy, Diane Tennier, and Nancy Machula. Predeceased by her sons David Ruddy, Hugh Ruddy, Clayton Ruddy, and her daughter Linda. Survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 41 Post St., Whitney, ON on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon. Interment at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Whitney in the spring.
