Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.  Shirley Hinze, age 73 of Birds Creek, was the beloved wife of Thomas Hinze.  Loving mother of Lindsay Gulenchyn, and Nick Gulenchyn. Loving grandmother of Chris (Summer), Addison, Genelee (Dylin) and Emma.  Great grandmother of Autumn. Daughter of Thelma Jackson (Dan), and the late Meryl Young.  Sister and sister-in-law of Feron Young (Edith), Glen Young (Bonnie), Elvin Young (Lynn), Faye Hall (Jeff), Patsy Henning (Dave), and Bartley Hinze (Helen).  Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.  There will be no visitation or services at this time.  A Graveside Service will take place at Mount Zion Cemetery (Hybla) in the spring of 2024.  Shirley was a volunteer at Choices in Bancroft, so as expressions of sympathy, donations to Choices in her memory, would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
