Passed peacefully on Saturday August 27, 2022 at Hospice North Hastings. Beloved wife of David Eakin. Loved mother of Jason Leslie (Carrie), Robert Leslie, Kerry Leslie, Chantal Thomas and Laura Eakin (Will). Daughter of the late Ronald & Florence Parks. Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Bob Parks, sister-in-law of Paul Eakin (Laura), Dianne Crawford (Shawn) and daughter-in-law of Jean Eakin. She will be missed by her nieces; Leeanne, Sarah, Tanya and her nephew Timothy. Predeceased by her sister Helen Cooney, her father-in-law Michael Eakin and her cherished granddaughter Ivy Faye. A funeral service was held at the Community Fellowship Baptist Church, 29754 Highway 62, Bancroft, on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 79 Hastings St S, Bancroft, ON K0L 1C0.
