Wallace Emerson Brethour, passed away peacefully in his 83rd year at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Thursday, December 11, 2008. Left to mourn is his daughter Suzanne Anderson of Belleville, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Wally is predeceased by his first wife Ruth Brethour (nee Bagg), and his second wife Myrtle Barker-Brethour (nee Bruce). Wally was a long time Barber in Bancroft. At Wally’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium, with interment of ashes in St. John’s Cemetery, Bancroft, in the spring of 2009. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hastings Centennial Manor would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
