Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Murray Gibner, age 71, was the beloved husband of Louise (Goudie) Gibner of Lake St. Peter. Loved father of Michelle Gibner (George), Mary-Lou Whalley (Mike) and Lisa Bower (Todd). Loved grandfather of Krystal, Eric, Brent, Samantha and Casey. Brother of Lorraine Patterson (Dave), and brother-in-law of John Goudie (Geraldine) and David Goudie (Mary-Jane). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Murray’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Audrey Lounder officiating. Cremation has taken place at the Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
